Glomerulonephritis

Kidneys filter blood to remove waste, salt, and water. Glomerular disease occurs when these filters are damaged, developing quickly or slowly, depending on the type. Symptoms include blood or foamy urine, swelling in hands or face, fatigue, and reduced urine output. Early detection is key to managing the disease.

Hypertension

Hypertension

High blood pressure, or hypertension, can lead to serious problems like kidney failure, eye issues, strokes, and heart disease. Early diagnosis and effective treatment are key to reducing the risk of these life-threatening complications. Managing blood pressure can protect organs and prevent further damage.

Diabetic Kidney Disease

Diabetic Kidney Disease

Having diabetes increases the risk of kidney failure, possibly leading to dialysis or a transplant. Diabetes affects many organs, including the kidneys, with the first sign often being protein loss in urine. Once kidney damage begins, it can't usually be reversed, but managing protein loss, blood sugar, and blood pressure can slow the disease and improve the outlook.

Chronic Kidney Disease

Chronic Kidney Disease

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) happens when the kidneys don’t work properly and won’t improve. It often has no early symptoms, but as it progresses, common signs include fatigue, swollen legs, high blood pressure, and itching. CKD can develop silently over time, making regular check-ups important.
